Hannah contacted me back in 2016 about her wedding hair & makeup.
Hannah had her trail in June while at her mums on a wedding organising weekend due to her living
in Birmingham with her husband to be. Up on entering the house I realised that I was at primary
school with Hannah, although she a few year younger but living round the corner from my parents
we had played together.
We spent a bit of time discussing how she visioned her hair and makeup to look for the big day. As
she didn’t wear a lot of makeup normally, Hannah requested natural looking makeup with her hair in
loose curls with maybe some plaits.
On the day Lorna and I arrived nice and early to start getting the bride and bridesmaids ready. It was
a nice relaxing morning the only stress was one of the bridesmaids had traveled up from the south
with no wedding shoe so had to make a quick dart in to Chorley to get some.
For Hannah I did hair curled with big hearted rollers, which when cooled and taken out to leave big
bouncy curls, I coupled this with two small Dutch plaits taking the sides off her face. I then secured her clip and vail in at the back
Bridesmaids were treated to hair curled with the GHDs to create a full head of curls, I then gave the
a bit of height on the crown and pulled it all to the left hand shoulder before pinning down to secure
it in place, creating a few barrel curls and loose curls to hide the grips. I finished off by securing their
fancy hair grips for a bit of bling.
Makeup done by Lorna
All had a soft natural look and on this occasion false lashes weren’t applied. The makeupproducts
used included MAC primer base visage, Supercover HD Full coverage foundation, MAC eyeshadow
pallet and to finish the brides own lipstick all fixed with MAC fixing spray.
We have the pleasure of working with Alex from Fairfield Photography. Hannah was married at St
Laurence’s Church in Chorley followed by a reception at Shaw Hill Golf Club, Chorley
